McFarlane Releases Photos of 12" LaDainian Tomlinson Figure

TMP Corrects Inaccurate Information About Pose for Upcoming Figure

McFarlane has released photos of the LaDainian Tomlinson 12" figure planned for release in mid to late 2008.

The figure will be a repaint of the popular LT 12" figure released in 2006. The repaint will feature the Chargers' new home blue uniform. Unlike most previous figures, the new LT will include his shaded visor.

The photos correct the inaccurate information released by McFarlane earlier in the week, where they said his pose would be a hand-off pose.

McFarlane has also provided more information as to why the changes to the lineups were made. According to McFarlane, Todd wanted to make the 12-inch Barry Sanders figure an original sculpt, and to provide time to develop that new figure it was pushed to the 2009 schedule.

With Tomlinson coming out as a 12-inch figure and also part of the NFL 18 lineup, Todd didn't want to release a LaDainian Collector's Edition as well. He chose to swap out his planned Collector's Edition LT figure and replace it with a Collector's Edition figure for Cowboys wideout, Terrell Owens.
