Upper Deck Releases Concept Art for Sidney Crosby II All-Star Vinyl

New Action Pose for Penguins' Star Planned for May 2008 Release

Upper Deck has released concept drawings of the Sidney Crosby II figure. Sidney Crosby I showed the Penguins star standing in a static pose. His II figure is an in-action pose, showing him down on one knee after taking a shot. The Illustrator is Jeremy Madl and the Sculptor is Rocco Tartamella.

The base figure is in black uniform with gold stripes on the pants. Alternate 1 is in his white "away" uniform. Alternate 2 is in the home 2007 black uniform without the gold stripes. The fourth version is the Black edition with gold accents. Edition sizes are 1000 Home, 500 Road, 500 Home ’07, 250 Black Edition.

The Sidney Crosby II figure was originally planned for an April release; however, due to delays in the approval process this figure will go on sale in May.
