McFarlane Toys has partnered with the Phoenix Coyotes Hockey Club for a series of NHL action figure in-arena giveaways for the 2006-07 season. Curtis Joseph is the second giveaway figure in the series, and given away to all fans on March 15 at Jobing.com Arena. CuJo is featured wearing the Coyotes white "away" uniform adorned with their commemorative Decade in the Desert patch. The first giveaway figure was Jeremy Roenick, given away to all fans on Dec. 21, 2006. Goalie.
Recently, CuJo reached a new NHL milestone. He made 28 saves in the 3-0 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Feb. 6 to capture the 442nd victory of his career and 50th career shutout. Joseph surpassed Hall of Famer Jacques Plante for the sole possession of fifth place on the NHL's all-time wins list with a 2-0 victory over Carolina on Jan. 4 for his 438th career win.
Joseph is also in TMP's new NHL 14 line as both a Coyote and an Oiler.
