Upper Deck has announced the creation of the All Star Vinyl Platinum Club, a premium style membership club for hardcore All-Star Vinyl collectors. The first club memberships offered will go on sale July 17th at 9:00am (PDT) for $100 per membership.

The club membership package features a Platinum Edition of the Sidney Crosby figure in matching all black packaging with silver foil highlights, limited to 500. Platinum Club members will receive not only the Crosby figure, but will also receive a full member's benefit package including:

Access to future releases prior to the general public and to the Members Only Forum,
Opportunity to purchase all All-Star Vinyl figure releases (including past and future Event Exclusives! - details TBA),
Contribute and shape the future of the All-Star Vinyl line by voting for upcoming player and jersey selections, Exclusive Platinum Club figure releases and variants,
Discounts on upperdeckstore.com purchases.

The initial club memberships are limited to 500 members as the Crosby fig is limited to 500. Eventually, the club will be expanded with additional Platinum Club membership package/figure releases. These releases will be split up between being available to existing members and new memberships. This will allow the club to grow steadily over time, while also allowing existing members to add Platinum versions to their collections.
