Upper Deck Releases Photos for Sidney Crosby II All-Star Vinyl

New Action Pose for Penguins' Star Planned for May 2008 Release

Upper Deck has released photos of the Sidney Crosby II figure.

Sidney Crosby I showed the Penguins star standing in a static pose. His II figure is an in-action pose, down on one knee after taking a shot. The Illustrator is Jeremy Madl and the Sculptor is Rocco Tartamella.

The base figure is in black uniform with gold stripes on the pants. Alternate 1 is in his white "away" uniform. The third version is the Black edition with gold accents. A fourth version, Alternate 2 in the home 2007 black uniform without the gold stripes, was planned but it is unknown whether or not this will be released. Edition sizes are 1000 Home, 500 Road and 250 Black Edition - 500 of Home 2007 version, if it is issued.

The Sidney Crosby II figure will go on sale May 13 to Platinum Club members and May 14 to the public.
